Lesson 47 - Writing Up a Resume
John: What’s keeping you up at this hour? Michael: I’m writing up a resume and cover letter for a position that my professor recommended me for. John: I had no idea you were in the market for a job. What kind of job? Michael: I’ m applying for a Recruiting Coordinator position at the university language center. John: I was under the impression that you were going to continue your studies. Michael: I was but I had a change of heart. I want to get some work experience before I apply to graduate school. John: Not a bad idea. So what are these guys looking for? Michael: A person who’s reliable and good with people. John: You’re all those things. Michael: My professor has a close friend who heads the center and will put in a good word for me. John: They would be losing out if they didn’t hire you.
