Lesson 42 - Sales Slack Off

Boss: Can I have a word with you in my office, John? Pronto.

(a few minutes later)

John: Did you want to see me? Is something wrong?
Boss: Have a seat. I’ve looked over your sales track record and it’s quite impressive.
John: I do my best. I make sure I always put myself out there when it comes to sales.
Boss: I can see that. They say you’ve topped everyone for several quarters now.
John: I had a good run for a while but my numbers are falling behind.
Boss: I’m glad you brought that up first. It seems that your sales have been slacking off recently and I was a bit concerned.
John: To be honest, I’ve been facing some problems at home recently.
Boss: I hope it’s nothing serious. Is there something I can help you with?
John: Well, thanks for your concern but I’ll be okay.
Boss: You’re one of our best employees so I want to make sure we’re there for you when you need it.

John:
John:
