Kathy: What’s all this traffic?
John: What day is it today?
Kathy: Wednesday.
John: Oh, it’s because of the farmer’s market. They block off the streets every Wednesday afternoon for the market.
Kathy: Can we check it out? I’ve never been to one before.
John: Let’s find some parking first.

(at the market)

Kathy: Look at all the produce! They have all sorts of things here.
John: Yeah, most of these goods are raised by local farmers so they’re very fresh. And a lot of the produce is organic, too.
Kathy: What about the price?
John: It’s usually cheaper since they sell it directly to the customers. There are no middlemen.
Kathy: I think I need to do some grocery shopping.
John: Our lunch time is over.
Kathy: It’ll only take a few minutes.

John: 그래. 여기 있는 대부분의 상품은 지역 농민들에 의해 재배되어서 아주 신선해.
그리고 많은 농산물이 유기농이기도 해.
Kathy: 가격은 어떨까?
John: 고객들에게 직접 판매되기 때문에 보통 값이 더 싸. 중간 상인이 없어.
Kathy: 장을 좀 봐야겠어.
John: 점심시간이 끝났는데.
Kathy: 몇 분 밖에 안 걸려.
